Tenneco’s (NYSE: TEN) Ӧhlins® brand will showcase its expanded range of high-performance coil-over damper sets, racing-inspired shocks for Jeep Wrangler models and other suspension innovations during the 2021 SEMA Show, November 2-5 in Las Vegas. Ӧhlins is one of the most respected brands of racing, rally and off-road suspension technologies and the exclusive provider of shock absorbers for the NASCAR® Cup Series “Next Gen” car platform.
In addition to several new suspension technologies, the Ӧhlins booth – #22743, located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center – will feature the Champion Motorsport Porsche 911 GT2 RS, equipped with Ӧhlins TTX coil-over shocks, which won its class (2nd overall) at the 2021 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Also on display will be the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide motorcycle that captured the 2021 King of the Baggers Series championship.
SEMA will mark the official launch of Öhlins TTX Pro high-performance coil-over suspension sets for BMW M2, M3 and M4 models. These sets feature solid piston, twin-tube technology adjustable front struts and rear shock absorbers designed and tuned for each application. TTX dampers offer separate adjustability in compression and rebound as well as spring preload to ensure the widest possible range of settings for track and road performance. Each set is designed to be used with model-specific, high-performance Ӧhlins front and rear top mounts and front drop links.
Ӧhlins also will debut its Adventure series front and rear shock absorbers for 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler models. These shocks feature PDS technology to provide increased support and improved contact with the driving surface, precise body control and outstanding stability. They are available for use with either 2- to 3-inch or 3.5- to 5-inch lift springs.
Other products to be featured are coil-over suspension systems from the brand’s automotive road and track range and a variety of leading Ӧhlins suspension technologies for the mountain bike and motorcycle markets.
